Aromatherapy is the inhalation of plant oils, called essential oils, for improved physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Essential oils are the pure essence of the plant and can provide both psychological and physical benefits. Essential oils have been used for therapeutic purposes for nearly 6,000 years. The inhaled aroma from these oils stimulates brain function, and when absorbed through the skin, travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing. After an initial discussion with the client, a specific oil is chosen. Only pure and undiluted essential oils are used.
